Hearing a talk about Wordsworth and reading this makes Ed and I think about a visit to the UK (and maybe Ireland) sometime soon. My only visit was to London in the 70's so I never saw the countryside. Ed was inspired after hearing about Wordsworth's home in Grasmere..Dove Cottage.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun visit in the heart of winter! I want the Elderly sign.
ReplyDeleteWhat's the caption for the 2nd picture? The Queen with Rule Britannia as the caption? A duel with rapiers? Got to love topiary.
Is fish and chips a side order if Ellen ordered broccoli as a main?
Hope she took her Lipator.:-)
T.
Very nice. What kind of wine was consumed with the fish and chips and broccoli. Thank goodness it wasn't cauliflower.
ReplyDeleteI did not include the topiary of the Queen's anniversaries. They were the least attractive. I included the tree with the rooster/peacock sculpted into the top of the tree and, of course, NA (Neal Armstrong).
ReplyDeleteLove this adventure. Glad you had fun.
ReplyDeleteI want to know the point of the elderly sign? Who is it supposed to protect? Is it like the signs of Deaf Child or Mad Dog?
