And someday I will be. Thanksgiving here was beautiful too, but somehow having the Tour Eiffel as the backdrop paints a pretty amazing scene.
Gros bisous!Brian Hugglerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03298990930070785632noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8779885531426200622.post-84473942755636850752010-11-29T04:25:39.135+01:002010-11-29T04:25:39.135+01:00Mark,

An obvious indication that our stay was too long. Goodness! I think Ellen should have given the guy a hug and thanked him for his many trips to answer your questions. Sounds like you got on with no trouble upon your arrival. Once again, I bet we U.S. citizens could be assured of encountering similar or worse challenges with bus or rail. Heck! We can't even find a rail unless we're on the east coast, maybe west coast.

Never the less, sounds like you, once again, had a great time with friends, enjoyed the good life in Paris and traveled well. Looking at the photos, I'd suggest Vaison la Romaine is a softer, gentler, slower pace. Great photo. And I know four great cooks there - you, Ellen, Benoit, & Marie. What a lucky guy indeed. Quelle chance? Damned lucky!!! And don't you forget it. Next time in Avignon give the guy a tip.John D. Each visit with her is more precious.

Paul never tires of Roman Bridge pictures! We wondered if you were going to ever post anything after the 9/27 post and had given up checking. Now Paul THINKS he's managed to "subscribe" to your blog; though one never knows with the "soul-sucking bureaucracy" of Google!--Paul and DenisePaul Pratt and Denise Chryslerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06335275358821838729noreply@blogger.com
